This site is compiled and maintained by Martine Cuypers at Trinity College Dublin, with the support of the Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek initially and now of the School of Histories and Humanities at TCD. It is an evolving bibliography (last updated in August 2011), organized into 6 major categories, including Hellenistic Poets, Epigrammatists, and Imperial Greek Poets. The latter features a number of Late-Antique authors, including Eudocia, Nonnus, and the Orphic Poems, who have all been the subject of rapidly increasing scholarly interest in the past several years, for example, Miguel Herrero de Jáuregui’s Orphism and Christianity in Late Antiquity (Berlin, 2010). The site is searchable, and for specific authors the number of entries is manageable enough to browse effectively. “A Hellenistic Bibliography” is basically comprehensive and thus a very useful reference; as with all the bibliographies on this blog, it will benefit from updates provided by other scholars.
